1. Exercise programs for sleep and sensory integration
The two exercise programs focusing on sleep and sensory integration are divided by age. This is because sensory-stimulating exercises in the first years of life are carried out by the parents on the child. With the baby gradually becoming more active, they can participate by approximately. two years of age. The programs contents partially overlap, because in both cases the aim of the treatment is to stimulate the senses within a safe and structured framework. But there are also clear differences, since older children are able to take a more active part in the exercises.
As a general rule, only choose one program from this category for the same child!
2. Exercise programs for Tummy Time and Rolling
All three programs in this category can be used from around four weeks of age and contain exercises that give your baby the best conditions for becoming good at and happy about lying on their tummy. The programs can be used until your baby can roll with good quality from back to tummy to both the right and left side. The programs contain many of the same exercises, but differ substantially in the details. Which program you should choose for your baby depends on whether you simply want to support your baby’s motor development foundation in general, or whether your baby also has challenges with back arching and/or flat head or has a preferred side and/or asymmetrical back of the head.
As a general rule, only choose one program from this category for the same child!
As a general rule, do not choose a program in this category if your child is already belly-crawling or crawling on all fours.
3. Exercise programs for Belly-Crawling
This program is for you if your baby can already roll from back to tummy and either can, or has started to show signs of being able to pivot while on their tummy (pivot = spinning like the hands of a clock).
4. Exercise programs for Crawling on all Fours
Both programs in this category support moving on to crawling on all fours. They can be used from the time your child is able to belly crawl. Both programs contain exercises that lead up to crawling on all fours: the first program includes exercises that strengthen both sides of the body equally, while the second program has a one-sided focus to re-establish muscular strength balance prior to teaching crawling on all fours.
As a general rule, only choose one program from this category for the same child!
5. Exercise programs for Walking
Both programs in this category are designed to help your child learn to walk with good quality and stability. The first program is made for children who properly crawl on all fours. It includes general exercises to support motor development as well as all the best tips to help them find the courage to walk freely without support. The second program contains many of the same exercises but is specifically adapted for children who crawl on one knee and one foot (Tarzan crawling) or move forward on their bottom (bottom scooting or bum shuffling).
As a general rule, only choose one program from this category for the same child!
