Consultation with Maria – in person or online
You are always welcome to visit me for a consultation, either at the clinic in Aarhus (Denmark) or online from anywhere in the world.
During a consultation, we first talk together so that I can get to know your child’s history. I will then observe your child at play and perform a physical examination on your child (or help you do it for me if it’s an online consult). I will then show you individualized exercises that you can do with your child at home. If necessary, I will also provide manual therapy to supplement the exercises. You are welcome to take photos and videos of the exercises I demonstrate during the consultation.

I work outside the Danish public health insurance system, which means that you don’t need a referral from your doctor to see me.
How an online consultation works
If you have booked an online consultation, I will email you a link to the GDPR compliant doxy.me. Once you have the appointment with me, you log in via the link in the email and we have a secure connection. It is an advantage if you are connected through a solid Internet connection. The consultation is the same as a physical consultation, except that I use your hands in the examination (I guide you) and I show you the different exercises on my mannequin “Harry”.
Lectures and Presentations
In addition to my daily work with clinical pediatric physiotherapy and Instagram, I am also happy to give presentations, lectures and courses on pediatric physiotherapy topics.
My vision is that my lectures and courses should increase the understanding and practical skills of the recipients and provide a basis for dialog and reflection. It is important to me to translate complex theory into easy-to-use practice so that the recipient can immediately apply the new knowledge, whether they are private individuals or professionals.
I am happy to tailor the content to you. The training can be anything from a short presentation (e.g. an after-work meeting) to a multi-day course where you or I plan the practical aspects.
